The Dream catcher is to be hung over a bed or babys crib, to ward away bad dreams.
 
Traditional beliefs hold that dreams come from outside ourselves, the dream catcher acts as a web to catch the good dreams and let the bad dreams pass through to be dissolved by the rays of the sun.
